Our Old House - Part 2

These photos were taken on January 10, 2009 with my cell phone camera. I still take crappy pictures on any camera, so it wouldn't matter if I had my good camera or not. I was on my way home from the cancelled rabies clinic ... too much snow .... HA!

Inside the garage. The walls have been gutted, windows cut in and a new floor has been poured.

This is the library/office/bedroom from the garage. A new floor was poured in this whole section of the house.

This is the family room. New floor and the sliding door has been reopened. The old floor was ripped out, including the hardwood floor I had put in the family room. The center load bearing wall was jacked up to level off the second floor. The laundry room is in the background. It has been divided differently. I'm not sure if the door going outside is still there. The kitchen-dining rooms are in back.

The laundry room in the foreground. Still can't tell for sure if there is an outside door. The upper level is where the kitchen and dining rooms were. It looks like there isn't a wall between the kitchen and dining room. Also, looks like sliders or french doors out of the dining room in back.

This is the balcony from the new addition over the first floor. I didn't go outside any further to shoot the outside. The door from the laundry has been boarded up, the light is still there. There wasn't any deck from the first floor.

The foyer and small bathroom. The door has been replaced and the closet is gone. The wall of the bathroom is straight and not at an angle. There is a large opening between the living room and foyer. The bathroom window still had the wooden shutters on it.

This is where the old closet was outside the main bathroom on the second floor. This is where the access door was to the attic over the first floor. No steps up yet.

The room above the living room is straight ahead. The room over the dining room - kitchen is on the right. Rebecca's bedroom is on the left. The closet in her room is gone.
